1 in 5 people will have some sort of mental health problem in their life. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis yourself, or you know someone who is, please phone the 24-Hour Mental Health Crisis Line.

Our professionally trained volunteers are there to answer your call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They will provide support in a crisis and can transfer your call to the local crisis team if needed.

The crisis line is available anywhere in the City of Ottawa, Renfrew County, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Counties, Akwesasne and Prescott & Russell Counties. If you live outside our area, similar services may be available in the community where you live. See our Links page for more information.

Information provided to the Mental Health Crisis Line and the Local Mental Health Crisis Teams will be kept confidential and private unless the law requires disclosure.
